SYNOPSIS:
Tourists lie carefree on the beach while the island is engulfed in flames. In her short film Greetings from Rhodes, director Viera Čákanyová ironically, and with a touch of kitsch, reveals our talent for ignoring crises. Real vacationer comments and glossy travel agency advertisements complete this tragicomic scene, challenging viewers to wonder — how far will we go to keep up appearances?
